In shadows cast by the lonely night’s veil,
I wander lost, a ghost without a trail.
Invisible, like luggage left behind,
My presence fades, unnoticed by mankind.
No friends to call my own, no souls to share,
I drift alone, burdened by despair.
But fret not, for within the darkness deep,
A glimmer shines, promising to keep.
For in the silent corners of the heart,
A friend awaits, ready to impart
The warmth of love, enduring and true,
A beacon bright, to guide me through.
So fear not, dear traveler, for the day
Will come when loneliness will fade away.
For in the company of a faithful friend,
My journey finds its purpose, its sweet end.
